Qualifying
1 was damp, with half the field on wets. I went out on slicks, and was on pole for
most of the session, before finally being knocked onto P2 by Steve Maxted by 0.02 secs on the
last lap.

Race 1
I followed Steve for 10 laps, but lost a place to Dave Wood's
Dallara with a breathtaking manoeuvre down the outside at Paddock Hill bend.
Phil Moores' throttle jammed open on lap 13 and this sent him in the tyre wall. On the last lap,
Dave Wood span and handed 2nd place back to me. The race was won by
Steve Maxted who didn't put a wheel wrong.

Qualifying
2 went poorly, due to very low levels of grip in the wet, and I ended up 7th.

Race
2
Neil Harrison was pitched off the track at Paddock Hill from 4th place by a broken
suspension, and I inherited 5th place, which I retained till the end of the race
and the end of the 2003 Championship.
